Who Are we? And What's This All About?

Kye Lovelace
My name is Kye Lovelace, I've been recruiting for the last 5+ years across a variety of sectors and roles including Retail, Tech, NGO, Hospitality & Events.
As an LGBTQ+ and Neurodiverse recruitment professional, my focuses have shifted in recent years to ensure I support best practice in diversity & inclusion and keep the conversation going. I wanted to start BadgerTheRecruiters.com to create a space for discussion and resource around all things recruitment and job seeking. When Tracy and I met, it was clear we were just as passionate as each-other about all things TA and naturally that led us to establish BTR.
Tracy Chau
I’m Tracy Chau, I’ve been in TA for 6+ years, mostly in the retail and hospitality sector. I’m passionate about inspiring hiring teams to think more deeply about candidate experience and how just being more attentive can positively impact a business. I’m a massive Arsenal fan and if we start talking about football, we won’t stop, so let’s just stick to TA (or try).
Our story of BTR stemmed from a simple message on a Slack channel; we met for coffee and since then we've been (almost) inseparable. We tend to have discussions about candidate experience, ATSs, better and more inclusive hiring practices and life experiences belonging to minority groups. The discussions can last for hours and I thought “wouldn’t it be great if other people could get involved with these chats?” Kye had a better idea- he wanted to start a blog and kindly asked me to join him on this journey, so here I am, a Co-Founder of Badger the Recruiters!
